June is here, the days are long and Ostrava has some seriously good cultural events lined up. We have teamed up with two of the city’s most exciting cultural institutions — Janáček Philharmonic Ostrava and Národní divadlo moravskoslezské — to bring you discounted tickets as a member of the Ostrava Expat Centre community.

🎻 Janáček Philharmonic – Festival Leoše Janáčka & Next Season

This summer, the Janáček Philharmonic is bringing exciting concepts to Ostrava and the surrounding region — and if that is not enough, you can already secure your tickets for the winter season too. Here is what is coming up:

AfrOstrava Festival 2026 is a two-day multicultural celebration in Ostrava bringing together music, fashion, food, art and community from across cultures. The festival features live performances, cultural showcases, workshops, exhibitions and family-friendly activities designed to celebrate diversity and connection.
