Have you recently moved to Ostrava? Welcome! 👋 We know the first months in a new city are full of questions, paperwork and new faces. That’s why the Ostrava Expat Centre is inviting all newcomers in Ostrava and their families to a relaxed welcome evening at our office.
You’ll meet other expats who’ve just arrived, hear what the City and the Region are doing for international residents, and find out how we can help you settle in. And yes, there’s a small welcome gift waiting for you 🎁

What’s on the programme
A welcome from the City of Ostrava
Ondřej Dostál from Ostrava City Hall will welcome you and introduce the Fajnova participation projects, where residents can share ideas for the city. He’d also love to hear your feedback as an expat.
A welcome from the Moravian-Silesian Region
Pavla Sliwková from the Regional Office will present the Hrajem s krajem participation project and how you can get involved.
