This time Prašivá.

Hey Expats!

Join us for the first Outdoor Club hike of the year as we explore the Beskydy Mountains! This time, we’re heading to Prašivá, one of the region’s most famous peaks. Along the way, we’ll enjoy stunning views and the traditional mountain cuisine at a cozy hiking cottage.

The moderately difficult route is 12 km long, with an elevation gain of about 500 meters: https://mapy.cz/s/balovegava

Since it’s still winter in the mountains, expect snow and ice — so please come prepared with proper gear.

What to Bring:

✔️ Snacks & water
✔️ Spare t-shirt to change into
✔️ Warm & weather-appropriate clothing
✔️ Proper footwear (consider bringing nesmeky for icy conditions)

Lunch & Return

A late lunch is planned at the tourist cottage near Malá Prašivá, followed by our bus ride back to Ostrava.

💳 Bus Tickets: You can pay by card, but please bring at least 200 CZK in cash just in case.
